Constitution of Finland is rewritten with a number of amendments. The revised constitution reflects changes in Finnish society and politics since the previous version of the constitution had been adopted in 1919, and aims to strengthen the principles of democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. Some of the key changes include the recognition of Finland as a member of the European Union and the adoption of provisions to ensure compliance with EU law. The revised constitution also strengthens the rights of individuals and minority groups, including the right to privacy and protection against discrimination.
