Shareholders of Telefonica SA approves a $20.8 billion capital increase to take full control of four Latin American telecom companies. The companies in question are Telebras, Telmex, CANTV, and Etesa, which are located in Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, and Argentina, respectively.
