Pakistan has suggested the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and holding tripartite talks between Islamabad, Teharan, and New Delhi regarding the proposed Iran-India gas pipeline to reach a political agreement before starting commercial talks. "Our proposal is that before we start talking on commercial terms, the three Governments should come to a political confirmation and commitment at the top level. The three Oil Ministers should get together to sign an MoU," said Pakistan's Petroleum Minister Usman Aminuddin in an interview.
