For the fiscal year that ended on March 31, Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp. reports a group net loss of 67.81 billion yen ($631.1 million), which is attributed to an extraordinary charge of 755.01 billion yen to address a pension fund deficit. However, the telecommunications company is optimistic about its prospects in the current year, citing expected growth in its Internet and mobile phone services as key drivers for a return to profitability.
