Starting this week, the previous British Gas will initiate the division of its operations into a pipeline entity and an energy exploration and production firm, as per its long-standing plan. Although investors may be eager to learn the details, they have already taken a considerable risk by investing in the company. Since the announcement of the plan in March, the company's stock has surged by 38% to 420 pence ($5.86 or 6.86 euros).
