According to a spokesperson from Honda, the company has joined hands with Yamaha to collaborate on motorcycle distribution in Japan starting later this year. They also intend to invite other industry players to participate in the venture. By teaming up, the two largest motorcycle manufacturers in Japan aim to reduce transportation expenses for delivering motorcycles to dealers by approximately 20% to 30%. Additionally, they plan to approach Suzuki Motor Corp. and Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. to join the partnership.
