Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. secures a helicopter contract worth approximately $1 billion from India's defense ministry. Under the deal, Sikorsky will supply 16 S-70B Seahawk multi-role helicopters to the Indian Navy, strengthening defense ties between the two countries. The contract also includes an option for an additional eight helicopters, enhancing India's naval capabilities.
