BG Group PLC announces the sale of a gas pipeline in Australia for $5 billion, marking the largest deal in the company's history. The subsidiary QCLNG Pipeline Pty Ltd, which owns the 543-kilometer pipeline connecting gas fields in southern Queensland to export facilities, will be sold to gas infrastructure company APA Group. The deal allows BG Group to streamline its operations and focus on its core business.
