Azeri voters participate in a parliamentary election, widely expected to be won by President Ilham Aliyev's ruling New Azerbaijan Party. The election is not being monitored by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) due to restrictions imposed by the authorities, which prevent credible poll monitoring.
