Honda announces plans to expand its lineup of plug-in hybrids and other electric vehicles. The company aims for electric vehicles to comprise two-thirds of global vehicle sales by around 2030, including plug-ins, gas-electric hybrids, and fuel-cell vehicles. Honda will focus its development resources on electrification, with plug-in hybrids and gas-electric hybrids expected to account for about half of future auto sales, while fuel-cell and electric vehicles may represent approximately 15%.
