Ctrip.com International Ltd., China's largest travel site, acquires travel-search company Skyscanner Ltd. for a valuation of £1.4 billion ($1.74 billion). As per the terms of the deal, Skyscanner will continue to operate independently under its existing management. This acquisition allows Ctrip.com to expand its presence in the global travel market and enhance its service offerings.
