TransCanada Corp. announces the sale of a portfolio of power plants in the Northeastern U.S. to LS Power Equity Advisors and ArcLight Capital Partners. LS Power Equity Advisors will acquire 3,950 megawatts of generation resources from TransCanada for $2.2 billion, further expanding their presence in the energy market.
