CenturyLink Inc. announces its plans to sell its data centers and colocation business to BC Partners-led consortium for $2.3 billion. The proceeds from the sale will be used, in part, to fund CenturyLink's merger with Level 3 Communications Inc., allowing them to focus on their core business operations.
