Tallis Obed Moses is elected as the President of Vanuatu, succeeding the late President Baldwin Lonsdale who passed away in June. Moses was chosen among 16 candidates after multiple rounds of voting and sworn in immediately after securing 40 out of 57 votes from the Electoral College. He assumes the role of president with the responsibility of leading the Pacific archipelago nation.
