The Egyptian parliament approves the transfer of two uninhabited Red Sea islands, Tiran Island and Sanafir Island, to Saudi Arabia. The agreement, signed by the government last year, faced public criticism and was previously struck down by a court in March. Despite the court ruling, the majority of lawmakers voted in favor of the agreement, solidifying the decision to hand over the islands.
