Boeing secures a major deal with Emirates at the Dubai Airshow. Emirates orders 40 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, valued at approximately $15 billion, choosing them over Airbus A350 aircraft. The purchase strengthens Boeing's partnership with Emirates, which already has a substantial fleet of Boeing planes. The order helps support Boeing's production and sales, while presenting a setback for Airbus and its struggling A380 superjumbo.
