Caesars Entertainment Corp. announces the sale of Harrah's Las Vegas hotel and casino to VICI Properties Inc. for $1.14 billion. As part of the deal, VICI will also sell adjacent land to Caesars for $73.6 million for the construction of a convention center on the Las Vegas Strip. The proceeds from the sale will contribute to Caesars' planned acquisition of Centaur Holdings LLC, which owns two Indiana casinos.
