Chinese search giant Baidu announces its plans to release a fully self-driving bus in China next year. Baidu aims to be a major player in autonomous vehicles with its open-source software called Apollo. The company is partnering with Chinese car maker BAIC Motor Corp. to mass-produce partially autonomous cars by 2019 and fully autonomous cars by 2021.
