The world's largest aeroplane by wingspan, built by Stratolaunch, takes its first flight. Designed as a flying launch pad for satellites, the aircraft aims to release satellites into orbit from an altitude of 10 km (6.2 miles). With a wingspan of 385 ft (117 m), it offers a potentially cost-effective alternative for space launches. The successful maiden flight marks a significant milestone in aerospace innovation.
