The UK and Switzerland sign a trade continuity agreement to maintain existing trade relations post-Brexit. The agreement ensures preferential terms under the current EU free trade deal between the two countries. It is part of the UK's effort to secure continuity in about 40 free trade deals held by the EU. However, challenges remain, and some UK exports may face higher tariffs and additional costs under World Trade Organization rules.
