Amazon plans to open multiple grocery stores in major U.S. cities, separate from its Whole Foods Market chain. The retail giant aims to expand its presence in the food business and diversify its consumer offerings. The first store is expected to open in Los Angeles, with additional locations planned in cities such as San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia.
