The government of Prime Minister Maia Sandu in Moldova is ousted through a vote of no confidence after breaking the coalition government with the Socialist Party. Sandu, a pro-E.U. advocate, made efforts to align the country with the European Union. However, she remained as a caretaker prime minister until a new government was formed.
