Austrian MPs vote to demand a government veto on the proposed trade deal between the European Union and South American trade group Mercosur. The vote is in response to concerns over ongoing Amazon rainforest wildfires. France and Ireland have also threatened to veto the deal unless Brazil intensifies its efforts to combat the wildfires.
