Sudan's Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok plans to request a $2 billion loan from the World Bank, as Sudan is unable to do business with international financial institutions due to its inclusion on the US State Sponsors of Terrorism list. However, the process of removing Sudan from the list is expected to take time, according to Sudanese Finance Minister Ibrahim el-Badawi.
