An international arrest warrant has been issued by France for former Nissan chairman Carlos Ghosn and four others over alleged suspect payments. The warrant is related to payments amounting to over €15 million linked to a car distributor in Oman. Ghosn, who is currently in Lebanon and holds multiple nationalities, cannot be extradited due to the lack of an extradition policy between Lebanon and France. Ghosn fled Japan in 2019 while facing financial misconduct charges during his tenure at Nissan.
