Germany and French rail transport manufacturer Alstom have jointly unveiled the world's inaugural fleet of hydrogen fuel-powered trains in Lower Saxony. This pioneering fleet consists of 14 trains that will effectively replace a set of diesel locomotives on a 100-kilometer (62-mile) stretch of track within the German state.
