Sitiveni Rabuka, a Fijian politician, has been confirmed as the new Prime Minister of Fiji. This marks his return to the office more than two decades after his previous tenure. Rabuka, who previously led two military coups in 1987, was democratically elected as Prime Minister in 1992-1999 and again in 2022, heading a three-party coalition. He currently serves as the leader of the Social Democratic Liberal Party and has played significant roles in various political positions in Fiji.
