Sam Bankman-Fried, the co-founder and former CEO of FTX cryptocurrency exchange, is released on a $250 million bail by the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. As part of his bail conditions, he is required to reside at his parents' home in Palo Alto, California, while awaiting trial on criminal fraud charges related to the bankruptcy of his exchange.
