The Assembly of North Macedonia successfully approves a motion to amend the country's Constitution, recognizing the Bulgarian minority within its borders. Additionally, North Macedonia commits to engaging in discussions with the Bulgarian government to address any remaining issues. As part of this agreement, Bulgaria agrees to commence membership negotiations with the European Union, opening the pathway for North Macedonia's potential accession to the EU.
