In response to Sri Lanka's energy crisis, Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera declares the government's decision to remove restrictions on fuel imports. This move effectively terminates the fuel duopoly between the state-owned Ceylon Petroleum Corporation and the Indian government-owned Lanka IOC.
