Trading of nickel on the London Metal Exchange has been temporarily halted due to the soaring prices and panic buying of nickel futures. Prices have surged above $100,000 per tonne for the first time, doubling for the second consecutive day. In response to the unprecedented market conditions, the exchange has suspended all nickel trading to assess the situation.
