Italians participate in parliamentary elections to choose their representatives. Early exit polls indicate that the centre-right coalition, led by Giorgia Meloni, the leader of Brothers of Italy party, has secured a majority of seats in the Italian Parliament. Giorgia Meloni, born on January 15, 1977, presently serves as the prime minister of Italy, becoming the first woman to hold this position. Since 2006, she has been a member of the Chamber of Deputies and has led the Brothers of Italy party since 2014. Moreover, she currently holds the presidency of the European Conservatives and Reformists Party since 2020.
