NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte says Europe and Canada are on track to buy €4.3 billion in US weapons for Ukraine this year under the PURL initiative, created after Washington largely halted its own arms deliveries. More than 20 allies now fund purchases from US stockpiles to keep equipment flowing to Kyiv. Recent commitments include Canada (€171m), the Netherlands (€214m), and Norway, Poland, and Germany (€429m combined), with total pledges nearing $5 billion.
