Nepal plunged into chaos as Gen Z-led protests forced Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli to resign amid government collapse. Protesters stormed and torched Parliament, attacked the residences of Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba and ex-PM Sher Bahadur Deuba, and brutally assaulted Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, whose condition remains unknown. President Ram Chandra Poudel’s home was vandalized, and party headquarters of the UML and Nepali Congress destroyed. Protesters stormed Nakhu Jail, freeing all inmates including opposition leader Rabi Lamichhane, before setting it ablaze. Tribhuvan International Airport was seized by the army, with major airlines suspending flights amid escalating civil unrest.
