The Netherlands central bank completes a major gold relocation, moving about 86 tonnes of bullion from North American vaults to improve crisis readiness. DNB transfers gold out of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and Ottawa, with most redirected to the Bank of England in London. The operation combines physical transport and market swaps to reduce security risks, with only part of the gold actually shipped.
