UBS Global Wealth Report 2026 shows that the U.S. holds 38.1% of personal wealth among surveyed countries, while Western Europe holds 21.9% and Eastern Europe 3.3%. Switzerland leads global average wealth per adult at €777,506, followed by the U.S. and Luxembourg. However, median wealth changes the picture: Luxembourg ranks first, Belgium second, while the U.S. drops sharply, showing wealth concentration at the top. European countries generally perform better in median wealth, suggesting broader middle-class wealth distribution compared with the U.S.
