Bangladesh’s Prime Minister presents a plan to build a $1-trillion economy by 2034, aiming to double national output through export diversification, foreign investment, and fiscal discipline. The strategy moves beyond the garment sector that powered earlier growth, promoting electronics, green industries, pharmaceuticals, energy, infrastructure, logistics, digital services, climate finance, and healthcare. Bangladesh is also positioning itself as a regional investment base, using its 180-million-plus population and young workforce to serve wider South Asian markets.
