Scientists have discovered the wreck of the Endurance, the ship that belonged to renowned Antarctic explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton. Remarkably, the remains of the Endurance are in excellent condition, with its timbers still intact and the name clearly visible on the stern. Marine archaeologist Mensun Bound described it as the finest wooden shipwreck he has ever seen.
